HOW IT HAPPENED
Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles posted an exciting 2-1 conference win over East Texas Baptist University Thursday behind a game-winning goal from Jayden Glover. With the score at 1-1, Glover hit a shot that the goalkeeper got a hand on but the ball was hit hard enough to still roll in. That goal came with about two minutes remaining. The Eagles' strong effort resulted in a goal in the 51st minute to take a 1-0 advantage. Mason Faucher would score in the box to ignite the Eagles. The Tigers however would even the score in the 71st minute. Goalkeeper Grace Houchin came up big with three second half saves to secure the game. The Eagles totaled six shots in the match.
