Hi everyone, my name is Hope Hensley, and I will be your tour guide from the other side of the world as the women's and men's soccer team travels thoughout France. Our plan is to post something every day about our journey...follow along here - Merci!

Day One - Travel

The morning started off with a bus ride to Little Rock for our first flight to Atlanta. Then arriving to Atlanta, we had a five-hour wait until our flight to Paris, France. For some of the athletes it was the first time to fly, and for most, the first time out of the country.  

For sophomore midfielder, Cierra Flynn, it was her first plane ride and first time out of the country as well.

"My first flight was pretty good, and I loved seeing the views from the plane," said Flynn. "My first flight out of the country was scary and a little bumpy, but it was exciting."  

Once we arrived in Paris, we loaded onto a fast train to get to our hostel in Lyon. The fast train was smooth and easy going. Once we arrived at the hostel, we settled in quickly and were excited for the days ahead.
