Hi everyone, my name is Hope Hensley, and I will be your tour guide from the other side of the world as the women's and men's soccer team travels thoughout France. Our plan is to post something every day about our journey...follow along here - Merci!

Day Three - Soccer And Kids

Today started off with heading to the training facility and once we arrived, we were greeted by the amazing staff of the FCCR staff.

We got the opportunity to work with some of the kids of the Football Club Croix Roussien, older players mixed with the younger players to do some drills and work together.

"I really enjoyed getting to hang out with the younger kids and even with the language barrier I was still able to connect with the kids," said junior goalkeeper Caleb Andersson. "The youngest one was placed in my group, and he made an everlasting impression on me."

After lunch we proceeded to have an Eco-friendly activity with "France Football" Association, where we learned about how to make the world around us better and eco friendly.

Finshing off the soccer aspect of today we played an 8v8 tournament mixed with locals and it was very competitive and exciting to watch if you weren't playing. Anderson's team came out on top and won the trophy for the tournament.
