Women’s Soccer Team Earns USC Academic Award 

The women's soccer team earned the USC Academic Award.

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's soccer team has been honored with the prestigious Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches (USC), it was announced by the organization.         
     
The USC Team Academic Award is presented to those teams with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA) for the 2022-2023 academic year. Under Head Coach Natalie Dreyer, the Eagles posted a 3.31 team GPA to receive the distinction. It marks the thirteenth time the women's soccer program has received the honor. The Eagles have earned the award six times under Dreyer. 
     
Following the 2022 season, 16 players made the American Southwest Conference Academic All-Conference Team and six made the College Sports Communicators Women's Soccer Academic All-District Team.
     
The USC annually recognizes programs for their exemplary performance in the classroom. A total of 801 soccer teams (307 men, 494 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year.
