HOW IT HAPPENED
Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles continued to win in 2023 posting a 3-0 victory over Westminster College on Sunday. It is the second consecutive shutout for the Eagles. All three of the Eagles' goals came in the first half. Lilly Hill had a beautiful goal from 25 yards out blasting one past the Westminster goalkeeper in the 25th minute. Savannah Solloway created pressure throughout the match and easily put one in the back of the net in the 34th minute. Catherine Acosta buried a shot just minutes later to all but secure the match early on. With momentum on their side, the Eagles kept the shutout intact with a solid defensive effort in the second half.
