HOW IT HAPPENED
Longview, Texas – The Eagles got much needed points after notching a 1-1 tie against LeTourneau University Thursday night in Texas. The Eagles started the match strong with an early goal from Angelina Lotz. Lotz scored just 2:39 into the match off a corner kick. Cassidy Hughes received the assist. The lead wouldn't last long though as LeTourneau scored the equalizer in the 26th minute. After that, the Eagles took four more shots in the first half. The Eagles had another productive half in the final 45 minutes recording seven shots. In the match, the Eagles owned a 13-6 shots advantage. Alex Kasper led the Eagles with three shots.
