Hendrix College Tops Eagles At Classic

The Eagles swim and dive team placed second at the Hendrix Classic.

Conway, Ark. - The women's swim and dive team traveled to Conway for the Hendrix College Relays and Hendrix College Classic over the weekend.

In the Hendrix Classic, the Eagles came up short 613-437. The Eagles finished ahead of Harding University Club Team and Williams Baptist University.

Macy McPhillips won the one-meter diving competition with a score of 181.75. Jordan Perryman came in third (162.35) and Kelly Arango came in fifth (137.10). McPhillips also won the three-meter competition with a score of 191.90. Perryman was second with a score of 103.05. The Eagles finished third (2:06.68) and fifth (2:25.40) in the 200 medley relay. In the 200 free, Faith Coffin placed first with a time of 2:06.38. Haley Howard was sixth with a time of 3:02.52. In the 50 free, Ariana White placed seventh (29.61), Perryman placed eighth (34.38) and Arango placed ninth (37.94).  In the 200 IM, Arianna Rosario was second (2:33.64) and Riley Holcomb was fifth (2:36.87). Coffin placed second in the 100 free with a time of 57.77. White was sixth with a time of 1:03.26. Katie Wilken was tenth with a time of 1:17.80 and Howard was eleventh with a time of 1:20.89. In the 200 back, Rosario was fourth with a time of 2:33.23. Natalie Naramore was fifth with a time of 2:35.09. Jordyn-Joyce Ellington was ninth with a time of 2:48.07. Kylee Booher was eleventh with a time of 3:03.77. In the 20 breaststroke, Holcomb was first with a time of 2:48.62. Skylar Frazier was fourth (2:55.82), Naramore was seventh (3:01.86) and Wilken was eighth (3:26.59). In the 400 free relay, the Eagles placed second with a time of 4:54.49.
