Clarksville, Ark.-John Brown University took a 8-1 win over the Eagles in women's tennis action Saturday.
The non-conference win improved John Brown to 2-7. John Brown edged the Eagles 8-6 at No. 1 doubles and then picked up two wins by default at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to move ahead 3-0 in the match. Paige Myers battled to a 6-4, 7-6 (4-0) win at No. 2 singles. John Brown would also pick up wins by default in the final three singles positions.
Ozarks falls to 2-6 overall.
Ozarks will travel to Texas-Tyler and LeTourneau for matches April 9.
