Clarksville, Ark.-The women's tennis team topped Texas Lutheran University 7-0 in Texas over Spring Break.

The Eagles lost to Southwestern University 9-0 and Schreiner 6-1, but came back to win against Texas Lutheran.

Against Schreiner, Tatum Hatridge won 3-6, 6-2, 10-6 at No. 3 singles. Against Texas Lutheran, the Eagles swept doubles competition to begin the match. Annie Nelligan and Kaitlin Gutierrez won 8-7, 7-5 at No. 1 doubles. At No. 2, Tatum Hatridge and Anna Ryan won 8-4. At No. 3, Lea Terrell and Emily Saniseng won 8-2. In No. 1 singles, Kaitlin Gutierrez won 6-2, 6-7, 10-7. At the No. 2 spot, Annie Nelligan won 5-7, retired. At the No. 3 spot, Tatum Hatridge won 4-3. At the No. 4 spot, Anna Ryan won 2-0.

The Eagles will travel to Siloam Springs to take on John Brown University April 2.
