Siloam Springs, Ark.-The women's tennis team took a narrow 4-3 loss against John Brown University Saturday in Siloam Springs.

The Eagles got a hard-fought doubles win at the No. 3 position. Emily Saniseng and Lea Terrell won 7-5. The Eagles won three singles matches. Annie Nelligan defeated her opponent 2-6, 7-6, 10-4 at the No. 2 position. Saniseng won 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 5 spot and Sedalla Shumaker won 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 6 spot.

The Eagles will hit the road to Texas to play LeTourneau University April 8 and East Texas Baptist University April 9.
