Texas-The women's tennis team hung tough with LeTourneau University Friday in Longview, Texas, but came out with a 6-3 loss.
The Eagles won a doubles match against LeTourneau. The duo of Jessica Gayle and Yadira Rodriguez won 8-1. In singles play, Tatum Hatridge defeated her opponent 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 4 position. Skylar Frazier battled to a 1-6, 6-2, 10-3 victory at the No. 6 spot.
The Eagles came back Saturday and lost to East Texas Baptist 6-3. At No. 2 doubles, Tatum Hatridge and Anna Ryan won 8-7. Hatridge won at No. 4 singles 6-2, 7-5. Ryan won at No. 5 singles 6-3, 6-3.
The Eagles will host Texas Dallas April 20.
