Women's Tennis Ends Season At Tournament

Anna Ryan returned a ball in the playoffs against Hardin-Simmons.

Richardson, Texas-The women's tennis team ended its season after losing to Hardin-Simmons University 5-0 in the quarterfinals of the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament.

The Eagles (4-13) were the No. 4 seed while the Cowgirls (12-7) were the No. 1 seed.

Hardin-Simmons came out with three doubles wins to start the match. With the Eagles trailing, it was a difficult climb to make a comeback. Hardin-Simmons would win two singles matches to clinch and advance.
