Richardson, Texas-The women's tennis team ended its season after losing to Hardin-Simmons University 5-0 in the quarterfinals of the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament.
The Eagles (4-13) were the No. 4 seed while the Cowgirls (12-7) were the No. 1 seed.
Hardin-Simmons came out with three doubles wins to start the match. With the Eagles trailing, it was a difficult climb to make a comeback. Hardin-Simmons would win two singles matches to clinch and advance.
