Eagles Fall In Match Against Sterling College

Clarksville, Ark.-The women's tennis team took a 7-2 setback against NAIA Sterling College Tuesday morning.  

Tatum Hatridge and Annie Nelligan lost 8-6 at No. 1 doubles. Lea Terrell and Sedalia Shumaker lost 4-1 at No. 2 (injury). At No. 3 doubles, Kelsey Smith and Erika Jones lost 8-2. In singles, Hatridge lost 6-1, 4-6, 10-8 at the No. 1 spot. Terrell lost 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2. Emily Saniseng lost 7-5, 3-6, 10-7. Smith lost 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 4 spot. Skylar Frazier won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5 and Erika Jones won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6.

The Eagles will host LeTourneau University March 16 in conference play.
