Women's Wrestling Team Goes 3-3 At Tournament

Addison Loney and the Eagles went 3-3 at the Lindenwood Dual Tournament.

St. Charles, Mo. The women's wrestling team had a solid showing at the Lindenwood University Dual Tournament posting a 3-3 record on Sunday.

The Eagles had wins over Fontbonne University (44-1), Westminster College (30-23) and Eureka College (24-21). In the win over Fontbonne, Addison Loney defeated Anastasia Georges (Dec 16-8) at 130. At 155, Marisol Zapata took down Riley Coleman (Fall 2:57). At 170, Diriann Porras posted a win over Natalie Bryant (TF 10-0). Against Westminster, Loney took a win against Taylor Reed (Fall 2:08). Porras had a win against Kaitlyn Mossinnghoff (Fall 4:11). Against Eureka, Michelle Gonzalez took a win against Audrey Driskell (TF 10-0) at 143. At 109, Isabella Cruz won against Gada Bryant (Fall 1:16). At 130, Loney downed Maria Diaz (Fall 1:29). Two Eagles had multiple wins at the tournament. Loney posted three wins on the day and Porras had two wins.
