Overview:
The Eagles' bats were red hot to start the game Saturday afternoon and finished with a 10-9 comeback victory. After three straight home runs by Sam Swartz, Patrick Clifford, and Dakota Ebarb put Ozarks up 5-0, a comfortable victory seemed apparent. Sul Ross had other plans. Entering the seventh inning, the Lobos trailed 6-1. Over the next two innings the visiting team would go on to amass six runs, which tied the game at 6-6. The Eagles were able to answer with two outs in the bottom of the eighth. A Patrick Clifford home run and a Patrick Mixon single to left had Ozarks ahead 8-6. A dramatic ninth inning saw Sul Ross first baseman, Jacob Ocoa, hit a three-run home run to put the visitors back on top at 9-8. The scrappy Eagles once again mounted a comeback in the bottom of the inning. Matt Alamia scored on a Breyden Varner single, and Dakota Ebarb put the game away with a game winning, walk-off single to center field.

Dakota Ebarb:
"We knew it would be a battle going into today. I just wanted to do my job for my team. We are scrappy. Everyone on this team wants to win and it shows with games like this."
