  • Sanderson, Duncan Run In NCAA III Regional

    Waverly, Iowa-The men?s cross country team had a pair of runners compete in the NCAA III Midwest Regional Championships on Saturday in Waverly, Iowa. Daniel Sanderson finished 113th with a time of 26:57.8 and Nathan Duncan, Jr. finished 161st with a time of 28:15.1. Christopher Collet from Warburg College won the regional with a time of 24:09.7. That ends the season for the Eagles.
  • Eagles Finish Sixth At ASC Championships

    The Eagles finished sixth overall at the 2023 American Southwest Conference Men’s Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Abilene, Texas. Daniel Sanderson paced the Eagles with a time of 26:53.4 for 15th place. Sanderson was one spot away from earning All-Conference. Nathan Duncan, Jr. followed with a time of 27:53.1 for 31st place.  Benjamin Stormes ran a 28:51.2 for 45th place. Omarion Shaw was 46th overall running a 28:52.8. Baltazar Garcia ran a 29:05.9 for 49th place. Duban Figueroa was next for the Eagles running a 30:25.2 for 62nd place and Zachary Wilson ran a 35:15.4 for 79th place. Sanderson and Duncan will also run in the NCAA III Regional November 11 in Waverly, Iowa.
  • ASC Cross Country Championships Set For October 28

    Clarksville, Texas – The 2023 American Southwest Conference women’s and men’s cross country championships are set for Saturday (Oct. 28) in Abilene, Texas. The races will take place at the Zoe Park and is being hosted by UT Dallas.
  • Daniel Sanderson Captures Arkansas D3 Championship

    Clarksville, Ark.-Daniel Sanderson won the Arkansas D3 Championships Saturday to claim the title of fastest NCAA III men’s runner in Arkansas. The Eagles also won the race. Sanderson ran a 27:22 and the Eagles posted the top four runners in the competition. Nathan Duncan, Jr. placed second overall with a time of 28:21. Baltazar Garcia ran a 29:18 for third place. Benjamin Stormes was fourth with a time of 29:29. Duban Figueroa ran a 31:43 for tenth place.  Zachary Wilson had a time of 34:49 for 17th place.
  • Four Eagles Finish Among Top-20 At Home Race

    The Eagles capped Senior Day with an outstanding performance at the 8k U of O Invitational by placing third overall and having four runners in the top-20. Daniel Sanderson paced the Eagles with a time of 27:38.90 for ninth place. Nathan Duncan, Jr. followed with 28:09.20 for 11th. Baltazar Garcia ran a 28:18.20 for 12th place. Omarion Shaw was 18th with a time of 28:38.71. Benjamin Stormes was 23rd with a time of 28:59.50. Duban Figueroa ran a 30:31.5 for 37th place. Zachary Wilson had a time of 34:18.10 for 54th place and Jordan Harrison was 56th place with a time of 34:28.40. Andrew Duncan and Benjamin Stormes were honored prior to the race as part of a Senior Day Celebration Ceremony.
  • Eagles Compete In U of A Chile Pepper Festival

    The Eagles competed in the University of Arkansas Chili Pepper Festival Friday afternoon and placed 23rd overall in the 8k race. Nathan Duncan, Jr. paced the Eagles with 29:50.5 for 105th. Benjamin Stormes followed with a time of 30:18.1 for 120th place. Baltazar Garcia ran a 30:48.6 for 139th place. Omarion Shaw was 191st with a time of 32:45.9 and Zachary Wilson with a time of 37:12.2 for 245th.
  • Pink Out Scheduled For October Home Competitions

    Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks Athletic Department has dedicated four different home competitions as ‘Pink Out’ events, in support of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 
  • Eagles Place Third At Harding Race

    Searcy, Ark.-The Eagles placed third at the 4-mile Harding University Steve Guymon Invitational Friday in Searcy. The Eagles were led by Nathan Duncan, Jr., who finished 25th overall with a time of 22:54.2. Omarion Shaw ran a 23:06.9 for 26th place. Baltazar Garcia posted a time of 24:13.4 for 31st place. Benjamin Stormes was 32nd overall with a time of 24:36.4 and Zachary Wilson was 44th with a time of 30:15.1.
  • Men's Cross Country Opens Season At UCA Invitational
    September 02, 2023
    The Eagles opened the 2023 cross country season at the 3-mile UCA XC Invitational on Saturday in Conway. The Eagles had three runners place in the top-35. Nathan Duncan, Jr. paced the Eagles with a 25th place finish running a 16:09.23. Daniel Sanderson followed with a 26th place finish running a 16:13.65 and Benjamin Stormes was 35th overall running a 16:48.32. Omarion Shaw ran a 17:07.74 for 41st place. Baltazar Garcia was 43rd running a 17:46.27. Duban Figueroa ran a 17:47.23 for 44th place and Zachary Wilson was 57th running a 20:27.11.
