Overview:
The Eagles were hitless in five innings and totaled only six hits over nine innings as the Hendrix College pitching staff led the Warriors to a 8-3 win Tuesday night. The Eagles did score first when Bradon Mabry homered in the second inning to drive in two runs. But Hendrix responded with four runs in the bottom half of the second and never let go of the lead. The Warriors followed that with two more runs in the next inning to hold a 6-2 advantage. The Eagles would load the bases in the top of the ninth with one out. Josh Stephens drove in a run with an infield single. But the Warriors forced a fly out and a foul out on consecutive batters. All six hits came from difference players for the Eagles.
