Rey Lozano was the hero as he provided a double off the left field wall to score Rennie Arjona in the bottom of the 14th. The Eagles seemed to have control of the game leading 6-2 after three innings, but Howard Payne exploded for seven runs in the top of the fourth. The game remained tied at 10-10 in the ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth innings. Howard Payne broke the tie in the thirteenth with an RBI single, but the Eagles generated a run in the bottom half of the frame on an RBI single from James Cross. In the bottom of the fourteenth, Arjona led off with a single and was followed by a walk from Erick Aguirre. Lozano then smashed the game-winning hit.
