GAME ONE
Overview:
Luke Morrison blasted a grand slam in the first inning to set the tone for the Eagles in a 5-3 win over Belhaven University in game three of the series. The win gave the Eagles a sweep over the Blazers. In the first inning, Rennie Arjona and James Cross had back-to-back singles and Rey Lozano drew a walk to set the table for Morrison. Morrison then delivered a shot over the left field wall to drive in four runs. The Blazers would score a run in the second, third and fifth inning to make it 4-3. The Eagles added a run in the fifth on an Alex Ray RBI single. The Eagles threw five pitchers with Connor Rowe receiving the win and Kris Sloan recording his fourth save of the season. Morrison finished 2-for-4 with four RBI.
