GAME ONE
Overview:
East Texas Baptist University held the Eagles to four hits as the home team edged the visitors 3-2 in game one. The Tigers plated a run in the first, but the Eagles answered in the top of the second with two runs. Luke Morrison hit a solo homer and Trey Vance tripled in a run. But the Eagles couldn't get their bats going after that as the Tigers allowed just one hit after the second. The Tigers scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the second. Dylan Kuester (5-1) was charged with the loss.

GAME TWO
Overview:
The Eagles pounded out 14 hits but committed three errors as East Texas Baptist University won game two 10-4 Saturday. The Eagles scored twice in the second inning and once in the third inning, but the Tigers matched that exact scoring output to make it 3-3. The Tigers plated four runs in the fifth, one in the sixth and two in the eighth, while the Eagles only scored once during that span. James Cross went 3-for-4.
