St. Thomas (TX) Has Strong Second Half In Win

Houston, Texas-St. Thomas University (TX) outscored the Eagles 52-36 in the second half to secure a 92-76 win at the St. Thomas Classic Saturday in Houston, Texas.

With the score tied 40-40 at intermission, St. Thomas (6-8) came out in the second half and took control of the contest. St. Thomas built a 57-48 lead at the 15:37 mark of the second half and then the Eagles (5-5) went cold. St. Thomas eventually moved ahead 71-57 with seven minutes remaining to put the game away. Ozarks committed 31 turnovers in the game.

Jace Richardson scored 22 points to lead Ozarks in scoring. Josh Berard and Dylan Gray scored 19 and 18 points, respectively.

Ozarks will host Hardin-Simmons University January 5 and McMurry University January 7 in American Southwest Conference play.
