Hardin-Simmons Men Drill 28 Three-Pointers In Win

Clarksville, Ark.-Hardin-Simmons drilled 28 three-pointers in a 135-95 win over the University of the Ozarks men's basketball team Thursday night in American Southwest Conference play.

The Cowboys (10-4, 4-1 ASC) poured in 84 points in the first half behind an 18-of-29 (62%) performance from long-range. Four Cowboys had at least three three-pointers in the first half. The Eagles (5-6, 1-5 ASC) got 24 points from Josh Berard as Ozarks scored 48 points in the first half.

Hardin-Simmons hit 28-of-54 (51%) from the three-point line in the game. Caleb Spoon went 11-of-18 from the arc to score 33 points for Hardin-Simmons.

Berard finished with 33 points, while Jace Richardson had 26.

Ozarks will host McMurry University January 7 and Baptist Bible January 9.
