LeTourneau Men’s Basketball Team Opens Strong In Win

Longview, Texas-The LeTourneau YellowJackets opened the game on a 22-6 run and never looked back as the University of the Ozarks men's basketball team fell 92-69 on the road Thursday night.

The Eagles (6-8, 1-7 ASC) trailed 47-32 at the half, with LeTourneau (12-4, 6-3 ASC) hitting over 50 percent of its shots. Ozarks would make only 1-of-10 from the three-point line and finished the half hitting 38 percent from the field.

Ozarks had trouble gaining any momentum in the second half even though it shot better than LeTourneau. For the game, LeTourneau owned a 47-38 rebound advantage.

Jace Richardson went 10-for-16 to score a team-high 21 points.

Ozarks will travel to Tyler, Texas, to face Texas-Tyler January 14.
