Pineville, La.-Louisiana College overcame a halftime deficit and took a 90-85 victory over the University of the Ozarks men's basketball team Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.
Ozarks (7-16, 1-13 ASC) shot a higher percentage from the field in the game (52% to 45%), but Louisiana College (8-14, 5-11 ASC) took a lead it wouldn't relinquish early in the second half. The Eagles shot a solid 58 percent in the second half.
Louisiana College also overcame a strong effort from Jace Richardson. Richardson shot 12-of-16 from the field to score 32 points. Richardson also dished out nine assists. Dylan Gray posted a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Ozarks will host UT-Tyler February 16.
