THE BASICS
The Eagles hung tough with the NCAA I Bears through the first half, but UCA outscored Ozarks 57-19 in the second half to earn the win.  Ozarks trailed 42-32 at the half behind Dylan Gray's 10 points. The Bears' defense limited Ozarks to 4-of-28 (14%) from the field in the second half. The Bears would hit 55 percent in the second half to pull away from the Eagles. No other player for Ozarks reached double figures in scoring. Tim Turpin recorded a team-best seven rebounds. Clay Conley hit two three-pointers for the Eagles. The Bears earned their first win of the season, while the game counted as an exhibition for Ozarks.
