THE BASICS
Dominican built a double digit lead at the midway point of the season half and then kept the lead the rest of the way to hand Ozarks a 74-63 loss in the Illinois College Tournament Friday night. Dominican was especially effective from the free throw line in the game, hitting 18-of-19 (94%) attempts. Neither team established a large lead in the first half, but Dominican did go into halftime time leading 39-33. Ozarks and Dominican would both hit 34 percent from the field in the second half, but the difference came at the free throw line where Dominican hit all 12 attempts.
