THE BASICS
After a tight first half, UT-Tyler outscored Ozarks 47-26 in the second half to pick up a 94-70 win. The Patriots got a big second half from Melvin Anthony, who scored 14 points. Ozarks trailed just 47-43 at halftime, but UT-Tyler hit 47 percent from the field and pulled down 29 rebounds in the final 20 minutes to keep the Eagles from threatening. Ozarks had trouble forcing turnovers as the Patriots took care of the ball and committed just six miscues in the game.
