THE BASICS
University of Mary Hardin-Baylor opened the second half on a 9-2 run to build a 42-25 lead en route to a 74-51 win over the Eagles Thursday night in conference action. The Eagles hung tough in the first half trailing by single digits most of the way until the Crusaders converted a three-point play with seconds remaining to move ahead 30-20. After the Crusaders jumped out to a sizable lead in the second half, the Eagles pulled within ten points behind a 10-2 burst at the midway point. But Mary Hardin-Baylor slowly extended its lead to 20 points. For the game Ozarks hit 29 percent from the floor. Zach Bobo and Kelvin Knight both came off the bench to score a team-best 12 points.
