THE BASICS
Concordia University Texas overcame a 49-43 halftime deficit to upend the Eagles 97-92 Sunday in league play. After building a halftime lead, Ozarks held the advantage until the 14:15 mark of the second half. The Eagles never could regain the lead after that, but played within striking distance the rest of the way. Ozarks battled back to within 86-83 at the 3:21 mark on Bryson Johnson's three-pointer.  Concordia's Joe Neal then scored seven points in the final two minutes to keep the Eagles from making a comeback. Ozarks shot 60 percent from the field in the game, with four players reaching double figures. Johnson led the team with 19 points. Tim Turpin was a perfect 9-of-9 from the floor to add 18 points.
