THE BASICS
The Trojans hit three straight three-pointers in the second half to ignite a 94-49 win over the Eagles Monday night in an exhibition game for Ozarks. The Trojans hit four from long-range during a two and a half run within the first five minutes of the second half. The Eagles never really threatened after that. The Trojans hit 54 percent from the field in the second half, including nine three-pointers. Ozarks played much better in the first half behind a strong game from senior forward Dylan Gray. Gray hit three from long-range and scored 14 first half points. He was a perfect 5-of-5 from the free throw line in the first half. Joey Hall's three at the 8:20 mark of the first half had Ozarks within 24-17, but the Eagles still trailed 45-25 at the half. Tim Turpin had a team-best six rebounds, while Gray had a team-high 18 points. The game was an exhibition for Ozarks and a regular season game for NCAA I Little Rock.
