Basketball’s Gray And Bobo Net Conference Awards

Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks men's basketball players Dylan Gray and Zach Bobo received honors from the American Southwest Conference, it was announced Tuesday (Feb. 27) following a vote of the league's head coaches.
    
Gray, a 6-foot-5 senior forward from Siloam Springs, Ark., was named to the All-East Division Honorable Mention Team, while Bobo, a 6-foot-5 freshman guard from Jacksonville, Ark., made the East Division All-Freshman Team.

Gray finished among the ASC's top-25 in scoring (13.2), rebounding (6.8) and free throw percentage (80.7%). Gray led the team in three-pointers (39-of-116) and averaged 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game. He reached double figures in scoring 18 times, and had 32 points against LeTourneau University. In that game, he hit five three-pointers and pulled down 11 rebounds. He hit a three-pointer in 21 games and made at least two from long-range ten different times. He earned All-Freshman Team honors following the 2014-15 season. He finishes his career ranked ninth in program history with 1,233 career points and third in program history with 696 career rebounds. He made 164 career three-pointers and had 19 career double-doubles.

Bobo finished second on the team in scoring (10.5) and third in rebounding (5.0) in 25 games. Bobo also hit 33 three-pointers, third-most on the team, and had 20 blocks. He scored in double figures 14 times and hit a three-pointer in 20 games. He had a season-high 23 points against Howard Payne University and then had 19 points and 13 rebounds against Belhaven University.
