Bryson Johnson was named All-Conference.

University of the Ozarks men's basketball player Bryson Johnson was named All-Conference by the American Southwest Conference, it was announced Tuesday (Feb. 26) following a vote of the league's head coaches.

Johnson, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound sophomore guard from Kay, Texas, was named to the All-East Division Second Team. Johnson ranked among the ASC's top-5 in assists (3.9) and steals (1.8). He was 24th in scoring at 12.2 points per game. He was ninth in the league in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.3). From the three-point line, he hit 21-of-67 (31.3%). He reached double figures in scoring 19 times and scored 20 or more points twice. He had a season-high 23 points against University of Dallas. He dished out nine assists twice and recorded five or more assists eight times. Against East Texas Baptist University, he scored 12 points, handed out five assists, grabbed six rebounds and recorded four steals. He drilled three three-pointers and scored 21 points against UT-Tyler. He has 204 career assists.
