THE BASICS
Belhaven was able to score first in overtime and never let go of the lead to hand the Eagles a tough 93-90 setback Saturday. The Eagles led 46-42 at halftime, but Belhaven fought back to eventually force overtime. Belhaven missed a free throw with five seconds remaining in regulation to allow the Eagles a second chance. The Blazers hit 5-of-8 from the field in overtime while the Eagles made 2-of-7 of their shots. The Eagles shot a solid 54 percent from the floor in the game. Zach Bobo had an outstanding day scoring 25 points and missing just two field goals. Bobo went 11-of-13 from the floor, including 3-of-4 from long-range. Cory Wilhelm went 9-of-11 from the field and scored 22 points. Wilhelm grabbed 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season.
