THE BASICS
LeTourneau University put forth a balanced scoring attack to move past the Eagles 86-64 Saturday in American Southwest Conference play. The loss also snapped the Eagles three game win streak. LeTourneau had four players in double figures and led 40-31 at halftime. Bryson Johnson carried the Eagles in the first half scoring 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor. He nailed a trio of three-pointers during the first half. The Eagles climbed within 45-39 on a Zach Bobo three-pointer at the 16:02 mark of the second half. But LeTourneau never relinquished the lead. Johnson finished with 26 points and Zach Byrd posted a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds.
