THE BASICS
The Eagles moved into a first-place tie with a 71-62 win over Hardin-Simmons University Thursday night in Texas. The Eagles are tied with Louisiana College in the East Division standings with a .667 winning percentage. The Eagles got 17 second half points from Zach Bobo. Bobo hit 3-of-5 from long range and 7-of-10 overall from the field. The Eagles led 31-27 at the half. The Eagles held their biggest lead of the game at the 6:43 mark, 61-46, to put the game out of reach. It was a Bobo basket that gave the Eagles the comfortable lead.
