THE BASIC
Sherman, Texas- The Eagles took on Austin College for the second time in four days and lost 105-81 on the road. The Eagles shot a respectable 45 percent from the field in the game, including 42 percent from the three-point line, but couldn't seem to catch up after trailing 58-28 at halftime. The Eagles also shot better than Austin College from the free throw line (76% to 68%). But the Kangaroos held a 49-31 rebounding edge. Grayson Nix scored a team-high 23 points, while Kyron Powell came off the bench to score 17 points behind four three-pointers.
