THE BASICS
Jackson, Miss. – Belhaven University scored the go-ahead shot with 1:35 remaining in the game and then sank two clutch free throws with seven seconds left to pull out a 72-69 win over the Eagles Saturday. The final five minutes went back-and-forth, but the Eagles did hold a 67-63 lead at the 4:46 mark.
