San Antonio, Texas-The women's and men's clay target team posted an eighth place finish at the ACUI Lower Midwest Conference Championships held February 6-7 in San Antonio.
The Eagles placed eighth in American Skeet, fourth in American Trap and eighth in sporting clays. Individually, Mason Malin had the team's highest finish in combined American events and sporting clays with 279. That placed him 35thoverall. McKenna Little was also 35thin the women's combined American and sporting clays events with 206.
In American Skeet, Lane Klohn scored 94 to place 40th overall. Levi Prestidge had a top-50 finish with 93. On the women's side, Taylor Holland placed 31st with a score of 75. In American Trap, Malin placed 16thwith a 98. Clayton Villines followed with 98. On the women's side, Little hit an 81 for 29th place. In sporting clays, Malin was 24th with a 93. Villines followed with a 93 as well. In the women's competition, Holland shot a 73 for 26th place.
The Eagles will next compete in the U of O Spring Shootout hosted in Clarksville February 27. That date will also be Senior Day.
