San Antonio, Texas-The University of the Ozarks clay target team finished sixth at the ACUI Collegiate Clay Target National Championships in San Antonio.
As a team, the Eagles finished seventh in American Skeet, fifth in American Trap, ninth in Super Sporting and sixth in Sporting Clays. The Eagles were one of 12 teams competing in the Division 2 category.
In American Skeet, Keaton Little was the national-runner up after hitting 100. He was one of four shooters to compete in a shoot-off. In Super Sporting Class C, Cameron Ziarko placed first with an 87. In Sporting Class A, Clayton Villines was first with a score of 83. In American Trap, John Wagner hit 99 for 16thplace. Charles Priddy also hit 99 for 20th place. In Super Sporting, Mason Malin was the team's top finisher at 69th overall with a score of 84. Malin was the team's top finisher in Sporting Clays with 76 for 56th place. In the women's and men's combined American Skeet, Levi Prestidge was the team's top finisher at 42nd. He hit 94. Prestidge was the team's top finisher in combined women's and men's American Trap at 49th with 94. In the women's and men's combined Super Sporting, Villines was the team's top finisher with 85. That placed him 14th. In combined American events and sporting clays for the men, the team's top finisher was Malin. He scored a 269 for 48th place. On the women's side, Taylor Holland placed 58th with a score of 237.
