Clay Target Team Finishes As National Runner-Up

Cameron Ziarko guided the Eagles to a runner-up finish at the SCTP nationals.

Marengo, Ohio-The women's and men's clay target team had another strong performance at the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and ACUI National Championships in Ohio during the week.

In International Skeet, the Eagles hit 275 targets to become the national runner-up. Hillsdale College hit 363 to win the title. Cameron Ziarko scored 100 to pace the Eagles. Trey Greeson followed with 89 and Wyatt McCaghren rounded out the top-3 with a score of 86. In International Bunker, the reigning champion Eagles also placed second overall. The Eagles scored 230, while Hillsdale hit 263 to pull off an upset win. Corbin Cooper hit 83, while Tyler Treadway hit 74 and Lane Klohn hit 73. 

In International Skeet, Ziarko was sixth overall, Greeson was 11th and Treadway was 13th. In International Bunker, Cooper was fifth, while Treadway was 16th and Klohn was 18th.

On the women's side, Kinley Cox was tenth with 54 and Karlee McCaghren was 11th with 39 in International Bunker.
