The match proved to be even throughout as neither team could consistently penetrate one another's defense. Texas-Tyler (4-1-3, 0-1-1 ASC) held a slight 8-7 advantage on corner kicks in the match, but it was Ozarks (3-4-2, 0-0-1 ASC) that made the most their opportunity when Travis Leach scored on a header off a corner kick from Alex Ross in the 54th minute. As the match played on, Texas-Tyler was able to get past Ozarks' backline in the 88th minute, as Leandro Fernandez scored the equalizer when he booted it over goalkeeper Austin Benner's stretched out hands. Both teams had chances to score in the first overtime, but couldn't convert. Texas-Tyler had a good look in the 108th minute, but Brandon Severyn's header hit the post and bounced into the feet of an Ozarks' defender.

Texas-Tyler had six shots on goal, while Ozarks had three. Austin Benner recorded five saves in goal for Ozarks.
