Young's game-winning goal came just a few yards in front of LeTourneau University goalkeeper Miguel Cabrera only minutes into the second half. Young took a pass from Thomas Mills and struck it past a diving Cabrera for the lead. Ozarks (4-4-2, 1-0-1 ASC) then made a defensive stand to keep the shutout. Ozarks goalkeeper Austin Benner provided a big save in the 78th minute. LeTourneau's Antonio Fernandez had an open look and shot, but Benner read it perfectly to keep the YellowJackets off the board.

The Eagles owned a slight 10-9 shots advantage and put five of those on frame. LeTourneau falls to 2-8-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the ASC.

Benner finished with four saves and now has four shutouts this season.

Ozarks will host Texas-Dallas October 11 and McMurry University October 12.
