Richardson, Texas-The men's soccer team struggled against Texas Dallas falling 7-1 on the road Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.
Texas Dallas (11-3-1, 8-0-1 ASC) exploded for four goals in the first half to hold a sizable halftime advantage. Danny Meyer would net a hat trick as he scored the first three goals for the Comets. The Comets came out and scored three more goals in the second half to move in front 6-0. Ozarks (9-4-3, 3-3-2 ASC) would eventually score in the 82nd minute when Bryce Young scored his 12th goal of the season. Texas Dallas powered 32 shots in the match.
Ozarks will host Mary Hardin-Baylor October 27 and Concordia University Texas October 29.
