THE BASICS
The Eagles were eliminated from the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament Saturday with a 4-0 loss against nationally-ranked University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. The No. 18 Cru scored three times in the first half to set the match's tone. In front of its home crowd, the Cru scored in the 15th minute and then added another in the 24th minute to put Ozarks in a quick 2-0 deficit. The Eagles had trouble recovering from a third goal in the 33rd minute. Ozarks created a number of shots early in the second half, but couldn't find the back of the net. The Eagles end the season with a 9-7-2 overall record under second-year head coach Aaron Brueckner and advanced the postseason for the 15th time.
