Swim Team Hosts Home-Opener

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's and men's swim hosted its first home meet of the season Friday night with teams from Williams Baptist College and Tabor College competing.
    
Ozarks defeated Williams Baptist 161-118 in combined men's and women's action. The men's team also picked up wins over Williams Baptist and Tabor College.

Jacob Toland won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:54.63. Kim Gyeongju won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24:29. Austin Waters won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:15.40. Gyeongju won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:02.97. Waters won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.0. Toland won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:12.38.
    
Sarah Starkweather, Valeria Robleto, Brenda Sandoval and Skyler Epperson combined to swim a 3:20.80 in the 200-yard medley relay. The same four also competed in the 200-yard Freestyle Relay and posted a time of 2:53.05.

The Eagles will compete in the Little Rock Invite October 21.
