Swimmers Race In Little Rock Invite

Little Rock, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's and men's swim teams competed in the Little Rock Invite Saturday morning.
    
The women posted a fifth-place finish, while the men's team finished sixth at the meet.

In the men's 200-yard medley relay, Austin Waters, Michael Walkine, Kim Gyeongju and Dylan Gehrels finished tenth with a time of 1:51.90. Jacob Toland placed thirteenth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.34. Walkine finished seventeenth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.56. Walkine and Gyeongju finished twenty-fourth and twenty-fifth, respectively, in the 50-yard freestyle. Toland was twenty-fifth in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.25. Waters was seventeenth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:29.69. Toland was fourteenth in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 58.37. Kaitlyn Henrietta placed twenty-sixth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 29.16. She had a twenty-second place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:46.92.

The Eagles will compete in the Hendrix College Relays October 27 and Hendrix College Classic October 28 in Conway.
