Henderson State Edges Eagles On Senior Day

Jacob Toland swam his last home race Saturday and was honored as part of Senior Day.

Clarksville, Ark.-The Henderson State men's swim team edged the Eagles 128-114 Saturday on Senior Day.

Several Eagle swimmers had outstanding days in the pool. Joel Coppernoll won the 200 free with a time of 1:51.19. Jacob Toland won the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.89. Josh Collins was the winner of the 50 backstroke with a time of 26.84. Jacob Jones won the 100 free with a time of 50.17. Collins was the victor in the 50 butterfly with a time of 25.03. Jones had the top time in the 500 free posting a time of 5:01.93. The Eagles won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:41.97. Toland, Collins, Jones and Michael Walkine competed in the winning relay.

Seniors Kaitlyn HenriettaBrenda Sandoval and Jacob Toland were honored as part of Senior Day.

The Eagles will now prepare for the SCAC Championships in San Antonio February 13-16.
