Three Seniors Honored Saturday Against Williams Baptist

Nicolas Dunsworth competes on Senior Day against Williams Baptist.

Clarksville, Ark.-The men's swim and dive team fell to Williams Baptist University 113-87 at Saturday's Senior Day.

Prior to the race, seniors Nicolas Dunsworth, Jakobe' Durant and Michael Walkine were honored for their dedication to the program. All three would have excellent races. Dunsworth won the 200 IM with a time of 2:13.66. Durant posted a win in the one-meter diving competition with a score of 113.85. Durant would also win the six-dive one-meter competition with a score of 136.90. Nicolai Van Zyl won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.36. The Eagles also had several runner-up finishes including the 200 medley relay (Joel Coppernoll, Walkine, Gustavo Almaraz, Van Zyl). The group posted a time of 1:46.71. Michael Vargas finished second in the 1000 free with a time of 14:21.41. Coppernoll placed second in the 200 free with a time of 1:56.04. Walkine was second in the 50 free with a time of 24.19. Vargas was second in the one-meter diving competition with a score of 101.25. Isaiah Dial was second in the 100 fly with a time of 1:01.36. The 200 free relay team of Dial, Dunsworth, Bertram Gibson and Durant placed second with a time of 1:44.44.
