Day Two Results For Men's SCAC Championships

San Antonio, Texas-The men's swim and dive team completed day two of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in San Antonio Friday. 

The men remain in sixth place at the Championships with one day remaining.

In the 200 medley relay, Joel Coppernoll, Michael Walkine, Gustavo Almaraz and Nicolai Van Zyl posted a time of 1:44.50 for sixth place. Michael Vargas, Nicolas Dunsworth and Isaiah Dial posted a time of 1:49.13 for 13th place. In the 400 IM, Dunsworth placed 12th with a time of 4:36.89. In the 100 fly, Dial placed 19th with a time of 58.92. Almaraz placed 20th (59.08) and Bertram Gibson placed 22nd (1:03.92). In the 100 breaststroke, Van Zyl placed 13th with a time of 1:03.01. Dunsworth swam a 1:04.20 for 15th place. Walkine swam a 1:06.53 for 19th place. Vargas placed 18th in the 100 back with a time of 1:04.33. In the 800 free relay, Dunsworth, Coppernoll, Walkine and Van Zyl posted a time of 7:52.84 for seventh place.
