Conway, Ark.-The men's swim and dive team topped Austin College 465-336 in the Hendrix College Classic Saturday in Conway.

The Eagles lost to Hendrix College 615-420. 

In the 200 medley relay, the Eagles placed third with a time of 1:55.82. 

In the one-meter diving competition, Michael Vargas scored 149.45 for third place. In the 1000 free, Joel Coppernoll placed second with a time of 10:53.71 and Nicolas White placed fourth with a time of 12:28.52. In the 200 free, Isaiah Dial swam a 1:59.12 for third place. Tyler Hamrick placed fifth with a time of 2:01.46. In the 50 free, Nicolai Van Zyl placed fifth with a time of 23.31. Wiley Grantham placed tenth with a time of 28.65. Ethan Spillers won the 200 IM with a time of 2:06.26. Matthew Shelton placed seventh with a time of 2:27.07. Tyler Young placed eighth with a time of 2:48.52. In the 200 fly, Isaiah Dial placed third with a time of 2:21.74 and Gustavo Almaraz placed fourth with a time of 2:22.11. In the 100 free, Ethan Spillers placed third with a time of 50.38. Wiley Grantham placed ninth with a time of 1:00.87. In the 200 back, Tyler Hamrick placed fifth with a time of 2:21.34. Michael Vargas placed sixth with a time of 2:27.88 and Tyler Young placed seventh with a time of 2:48.17. In the 500 free, Joel Coppernoll placed second with a time of 5:13.18. Nicolas White placed fourth with a time of 5:48.55. Nicolai Van Zyl won the 200 breast stroke with a time of 2:21.13. Matthew Shelton placed fifth with a time of 2:37.0. 

In the 400 free relay, the Eagles finished fourth and fifth with times of 3:29.0 and 4:06.39.
